If we look at barter for stuff instances raids and Helegrod. Back when any class item you can get the lord of the rings gold from this game and you would drop they moved to gems like in the Rift to allow people who had not had their last class armor item drop in ages to get it. Next was the platinum tokens where they applied the lesson not making class specific drops but kinda annoyed a lot of people no end because as six man non locked instances some would go in win the rad piece and never come back, so you get the very lucky and the very frustrated. They at long last decide to go with the annulments model.
They seem to like the old BG styles of kill, kill again, and again and again with the weapons which back in the day of Captains Arms, Serendipity Bane of Forvengwath etc was fine as you knew the end result of your labor. Now people don't want to put in the time to get what is likely to be something they will not use.
Due to the very low percentage drop rate it is rather difficult to come up with a statistical in Lotro. However, based on our observations we would suggest that the drop rate has not changed at all but has remained pretty much the same. Sometimes we get no drop for 15 runs in a row, and then 3 symbols drop in three consecutive runs. However, for those who are still desperately trying to get that symbol drop.
